Our popular "Salty Skin" art design is hand screen printed on premium 'EarthAware™ Bag for Life' tote bags. The design is printed in Cornwall on to 100% organic cotton, heavy duty fabric bags.
The reusable bag measures 38cm wide and 42 cm in length with a volume of 10 litres. The handles are 67 cm long and sit comfortably on your shoulder or held in your hand.
We have carefully sourced these robust bags for their quality and durability, ideal for cutting down your use of plastic bags and carrying your shopping, your books or your beach gear! For comparison our bags have a fabric weight of 340gsm or 10oz/yd², the standard thin tote bag you might normally come across is usually only 100gsm in weight. The design was originally inspired by simple screen print techniques to design this block colour image. It recalls the simple and bold vintage surf prints of the 1960s and early 1970s. The nature of the artwork means that it would make an ideal gift for a surfer, but would also be perfect for anyone who is a fan of retro style.
Please note that the bags are made from natural cotton and some slight differences in colour, weave and size may occur. The designs are hand screen printed individually and so some minor variation in print consistency may occur between each finished product. For washing & care, spot clean with mild soap and water.
